Swype for Symbian v2 hits Betalabs – finally supports Split Screen QWERTY on Anna

 
After having announced it right after Symbian Anna was released, The beta for Swype for Symbian v2 has finally been released via Nokia Betalabs.


According to the Betalabs page, this update finally brings many of the versions only available in the Android version of Swype till now.


Here is what all is new in this release:

    Portrait and split-screen support for devices with Symbian Anna
    Cutting-edge predictive tap auto-correction engine
    30 downloadable language dictionaries
    Many incremental UX changes based on Nokia and Android Beta Labs feedback
    Hundreds of bug fixes. Too many to list!

All S60 5th Edition and Symbian^3 devices are supported. Swype comes preloaded with English US, English UK, Spanish, Portuguese BR, and French CA. If you want to Swype in a different language, download one of our 30 additional language packs.

Note : There seems to be some problem with download page & links. The correct file hasn’t been updated yet. We’ll update you whenever the file is online.
