AutoBot is an upcoming product from the company Mavizon. It works with a Bluetooth OBD-II dongle and can “diagnose engine troubles, keep track of maintenance, and locate your car via GPS coordinates”. Amazingly, It can even be configured to automatically send a text to loved ones if you get into an accident, telling them your GPS coordinates. The whole lot will cost around $300 for the hardware and software with some other extra fees possibly added once it does launch.
The AutoBot plugs into OBD-II connector usually found under the steering wheel column in your car, and syncs up to an Internet-based account, which you can access via a smartphone app or by regular browser jockeying.
