Nokia E71 Firmware Updated to Version 501.21.001 (With Changelog)

You can update your Nokia E71 firmware over OTA (Over-The-Air) or by using Windows PC applications  Nokia’s Software Updater or Ovi Suite . The Nokia E71 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always good idea to backup all of your personal data before updating the device firmware.
Note:
  • It may take some time before the new firmware is available for your region.
  • This release is an emergency release to address very specific complaints from Customers and Operators

  • Islas Malvinas name changed to Mid-Atlantic in LTA variants
BACKUP AND RESTORE
  • Fixed the “Contact Retailer” backup and restore issue to recover to Active Idle settings
