iPhone 4 is again the thinnest smartphone in the world?

If you follow the news high tech in recent months, you must have heard different between Apple and Samsung.
Periodically, complaints are filed by the two entities usually stories about patents, up to block the marketing of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in some countries (called Samsung).
This is a problem. 4 When the iPhone was made official, Apple proudly announced on its fineness, setting it willingly as the thinnest smartphone in the world. Subsequently, Samsung has launched the Galaxy S 2 which has been designated as replacing the iPhone 4 to the position of the thinnest smartphone with 8.71mm thick at its most graceful.
Samsung has filed a complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) on an Apple ad that highlights the delicacy of the iPhone 4. Requesting that the Cupertino company stops communicating on this issue since the S Galaxy 2 would be finer.
Apple in turn has raised the following point: "Consumers are not interested in the finer points but the overall size of the product, which affects the product's ability to get into a pocket or purse." The ASA has approved Apple's argument and stated that "as the thickest point of the iPhone 4 is thinner than the thickest point of the Galaxy S 2 [against 9.91mm 9.3mm]" the complaint has been canceled.
All this is borderline ridiculous you can not find?
