Samsung Galaxy S2 Firmware Leaks; May Contain Gingerbread

An unconfirmed firmware of the Samsung Galaxy S2 has just leaked. This device is said to be  GT – I9200. The original Galaxy S was GT – I9000.

Samsung Galaxy S2 is said to feature a Super AMOLED upgrade, at a resolution of 1280×720. The device is most definitely feature Gingerbread, and possibly get a Honeycomb update as well. We may even see a dual core processor on this device.

The people over at XDA are working religiously to decipher what this firmware may contain. For all we know, it may even be the Nexus S firmware. Maybe project Nexus S has been scrapped completely to make way for the Galaxy S2. In either cases this firmware is bound to have Gingerbread.
