Skyfire v1.0 for Symbian & Windows Mobile Discontinued

Skyfire, the Mobile browser company updated their blog stating that they will be discontinuing their original product v1.0 available for Windows Mobile and Symbian, by the end of 2010.
In the blogpost they explained that they had to take this decision primarily because they couldn’t find a way to monetize the app available freely either on Windows Mobile or Symbian. Besides, both the operating system are near to losing their market share. Microsoft has come up with their new OS – Windows Phone 7 and Symbian market share is anything but exciting.
Besides, Skyfire 2.0 which is a paid app provides a way for Skyfire to monetize. The post also explains they are enthusiastic to develop a Meego version of the app.
