Nexus One gets a rooted Gingerbread build with functional apps

Yesterday, we shared with you the news of Nexus One getting a Gingerbread port. If you recall that post completely, the AOSP based Gingerbread port was in its early or should I say basic stage, as it didn’t have functional apps and required you to have hboot verison 35.0017. Well, thinks have just gotten better thanks to XDA Developer MicroMod777, who has posted a Gingerbread AOSP build that is rooted, has the Google Apps and doesn’t have any hboot version requirement.
Here’s the description of the ROM:

Here’s the newest update now from AOSP Gingerbread thanks to Chris Soyars, then rooted with busybox by blunden ! I then added some Google Apps that won’t crash Gingerbread.
Any Hboot can flash!
Will not kill your recovery or brick your Nexus One!
Google Apps added:
*Market
*Gmail
*YouTube
*CarHome
*Maps
*Latitude
*Navigation
*New and Weather
*Google Search
*Facebook
Other Apps:
*Quickboot
*Astro
*TitaniumBackup
