Skype now available for Nokia N8, C7 and the E5 devices

Quite ironical that just yesterday I went onto the Skype Community forum and left a post asking them when we could expect an updated version of their ever popular Skype app for Symbian^3 devices and this afternoon, to my surprise, I get an email in my inbox telling me that Skype today released their new updated Skype app version for the following Symbian devices – N8, C7 and the E5.
Some new features are included and one that stands out the most is Skype’s new high quality audio codec – SILK, which will ensure that your calls are crystal clear, even when you’re on a low-bandwidth connection.
Here are a couple of screen shots of the app installed on a Nokia C7:

The update also contains a number of interface improvements, making it easier to add contacts, navigate, add a photo to your profile and set your mood message. Additionally, they’ve updated the interface to better fit larger screens.
