iPhone 5 to run on A5 Processor – Report

iPhone 5 Rumors have begun spreading in full swing once again! The latest report from Digitimes brings us some more insight scoop from the sources close to Apple. Their newly published report suggests that Apple will finally dump A4 processor to feature A5 processor in iPhone 5.

A5 will power the iPhone 5 -

In fact, Apple already began handling some A4 orders to TSMC in 2010 when Samsung’s capacity

was unable to fulfill strong demand of Apple devices, the sources said, adding that the move at the time was perhaps to test TSMC’s capability.
According to Digitimes Research, the iPad 2 will support an enhanced version of the A4 and the A5 will power the iPhone 5. TSMC will initially produce the improved A4, and could likely become the exclusive manufacturer of the A5.
Interestingly, in earlier report today, they have almost confirmed that Apple will launch new iPhone with 4-inch screen display and now iPhone 5 A5 processor rumor is buzzing all over the world. This clearly hints that iPhone 5 will undergo some serious design change.
Above excerpt also reveals that iPad 2 will feature improved A4 chip, which is expected to be announced very soon in an Apple event.
