Apple replacing New and Serviced iPhone 4 screws with Torx screws

Apparently Apple isnt too pleased about people using White iPhone 4 parts on their Black iPhones.
If you’ve recently gotten your iPhone 4 serviced, you might have been one of the unlucky ones to notice that the screw by the connector is now a 5-Point Torx screw. If you’re not big on the modding scene, this isnt a big deal but if you are, then you’ll have to be a lot more careful.

While you can pretty much get Torx screwdrivers almost anywhere, in this case you have to be careful not to wear down the grooves in the head. There are even reports that brand new iPhone 4′s that are being shipped to Stores, are arriving with this new tamper-proof screw, apparently the type that pins right down the center.
Apple has done this before, with the new MacBook Air, for example.
Basically Apple just doesnt want you to open up your iPhone 4, and this is going to make it a lot harder. I’m not even sure if it’s worth the trouble at this point.
