CDMA HTC Trophy Passes FCC; Coming to Verizon Soon?

The HTC 7 Trophy has just passed the FCC packing a CDMA radio. The model number PC40200 is what is on the FCC request. It is very close to the PC40100 of the European version of the Trophy. The handset, which is expected to arrive in the next two weeks, is expected to be the first CDMA Windows Phone 7 device, and will join the HTC 7 Pro which is expected to arrive on Sprint around the same time.

Based on previous rumors, The HTC 7 Trophy is headed for Verizon Wireless as opposed to Sprint. This FCC approval means it’s on the horizon
