Redsn0w 0.9.7b5 Released for Developers

As per the ongoing beta program, iPhone Dev team has now released fifth beta version of Redsn0w 0.9.7 (Redsn0w 0.9.7b5) for developers. In this new Redsn0w tool, Dev team members have included Bluetooth support for iDevice users.
Redsn0w 0.9.7b5 is developed for two platforms i.e. Mac and Windows, but Windows version of tool takes a lot of time to process IPSW file. So, the team has decided to release Mac version of Redsn0w 0.9.7b5, which works pretty fast on OS X Snow Leopard.
Although Redsn0w 0.9.7b5 brings untethered jailbreak on your iOS 4.2.1 based iDevices, it’s not fully developed, as it requires iOS 4.2b3 (which is not available for end users) and one needs to follow several steps to achieve successful jailbreak.

Once the proper tool is released, we will come up with a detailed guide on how to get untethered jailbreak on your devices. For now, you may try this tool at your own risk.
