Samsung Infuse 4G Arrives at AT&T in Q2

The Samsung Infuse 4G was just announced exclusively for AT&T. The Infuse 4G sports the company’s Super AMOLED Plus technology, the next generation of Super AMOLED, a super-thin display which produces gorgeous colors and high visibility indoors and out. It accommodates 50 percent more sub-pixels for better contrast and readability outside under sunlight. The mobile phone comes with a 1.2 GHz applications processor and is powered by Google’s Android 2.2 operating system. The high-end handset packs dual-cameras including an 8-megapixel shooter which would be capable of recording 720p HD video on the back and 1.2-megapixel sensor on the front for video conferencing.
Supporting the HSPA+CAT14 network, this smartphone promises up to 21Mbps data speeds on 4G networks. Additionally, the Infuse 4G includes an HTML5-compliant web browser. Despite its large display, the Infuse 4G lays claim to being the slimmest smartphone to debut on AT&T and includes an unibody aluminum design. However, they did say that the new phone would land sometime in the second quarter of the ongoing year, exclusively on AT&T, and they also confirmed some of its specifications.
