Firmware update to V061.005 for Nokia C5-00 RM645

Nokia have released yet another new firmware update and this time for the Nokia C5-00 RM645 – version v061.005, the previous one was back in August V032.010. This new update brings a number improvements in usability and corrections plus includes performance and quality improvements.
The update is currently available Over The Air (OTA) and via the Nokia Software Updater software in the EURO region.
Here are some of the errors that have been rectified with this update:


  • Memory leak is detected in during SRIT test round.

  • Themes: The first theme in General theme menu is applied automatically after open theme from Settings.

  • Browser crashes after loading VF Germany Homepage

  • Nokia C5-00: C5 The default input is set strokes then changed into Pinyin automatically

  • C5-00 mp3 song volume a bit lower

  • IHF speaker volume is lower after flashing with SW version 32.010

  • Voice quality issue related to VoIP default codec

  • Phone freeze when choose Jordan as the country

  • Phone displays emergency calls only with full signal

  • Nokia C5-00: C5 missing a game in care sw Remember that the Nokia C5-00 does not have UDP (User Data Preservation), so it’s recommended that you backup your data before you update your device with the new firmware.
